HP 15s-du2071TU 15.6-inch Laptop Review
This laptop was launched on 19 May 2020. It comes with Intel i3 10th generation 1005G1 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Hard Disk, Pre-Installed Windows 10 Home OS. HP 15s-du2071TU Laptop weight is 1.77 Kgs and it comes with Jet Black colour option.
Display: The new HP 15s du2071TU comes with 15.6-inch 1080p Full HD Display but the colour shift is quiet small. If you are thinking to buy a budget laptop for movie watching then it will be a great choice for you. In this price range you will not get better display configuration than this.
Above the display, there is an HD WebCam situated in the middle. The quality of the WebCam (0.9MP) is not so great. It has an indicator light which will on while in use. But there is no cover to protect the WebCam.
Performance: It comes with 1TB Hard Disk, 8GB RAM, i3 10th Gen processor. The processor and RAM are ok considering the price but if it had SSD along with or without then I feel it could have been a great laptop. It will take around 10-15 seconds to boot windows.
It comes with pre-installed windows 10 home and MS Office Home and Student 2019. You need to activate MS Office Student Version to continue using it after 30 days.
It comes with same design which other laptops around this price segment has. But it is a improved laptop in my opinion. Especially in Keyboard section. Yes, you will not get backlit keyboard in this laptop too but it comes with a very good chicklet keyboard with dedicated num pad. Touch-Pad on this laptop is also nice which comes with left and right button and has a few gestures as well.
There is a dual speaker located on the above side of the keyboard which has clear sound but not so loud.
Battery: The only negative point in this laptop is battery backup. Hardly it will give you around 3-4 hours backup. If you uninstall unnecessary programs then it will give you 30-35 minutes more backup although.
The HP 15s du2071TU comes with USB Type-C, HDMI, SD Card Reader, USB 3.0 ports. It is really great to see it comes with USB Type-C but sometimes you will feel bad because you can’t insert big Pendrive because the ports are very close to each other.

You can buy HP 15s du2071TU from online and offline stores as well. Many times you will get to see sold out option in Amazon and Flipkart because of high demand and very low numbers of availability. You can easily but it from offline stores but I don’t recommend you to buy from offline stores because for this you have to spend the actual selling price. Whereas if you buy it from Amazon after applying some bank offers then you will get it with a 10-15% discount price. It will really save 2000-3000 in your pocket, which you can use to purchase laptop accessories in future like laptop bags, mouse, external keyboard (if needed) etc.
