If you are a regular reader in our Laptop Review articles then you have read previous articles. I have covered many laptop reviews with 8GB RAM, i3 10th processor, 256GB SSD and much more good specifications. AMD Processor is good but my personal choice is intel processor. Because I have seen a heating issue in many laptops powered by AMD processor.
This HP Ryzen 3 FHD 15.6-inch Laptop (15s-GR007AU) comes with AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 4GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Hard Disk, pre-installed windows 10 and MS Office 2019.
Features
Design & Display: It comes with 15.6″ diagonal Full HD SVA anti-glare micro-edge, WLED-backlit Display with Brightness 220 nits. Looking at the price I think display quality is good. There is a WebCam located above the display with average quality.
It does not come with backlit keyboard but its chicklet keyboard and touchpad quality are very good. Above the keyboard, there is a dual speaker located with medium quality.
Performance:
HP 15s-GR007AU has 4GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 3 3250U processor with base speed 2.6 GHz up to 3.5GHz max speed. If you want to buy this laptop for normal use like office works, student assignments, college use or attending online classes. Then obviously is a worth buying laptop. But for heavy use, I don’t recommend this laptop at this price. It has a basic Intel UHD graphics card.
Software: It comes with pre-installed Windows 10 Home and MS Office Home and Student 2019 for lifetime validity.
Ports: There are multiple ports like USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, SD Card Reader Ethernet and Audio-Out Ports are available in this laptop. But like other mid-range laptops from HP it does not comes with DVD RW.
Battery: HP Ryzen 3 FHD 15.6 Laptop comes with 3-cell 41WH Battery which will easily provide you around 8 hours back up in a day. But if you will try heavy works like gaming, video editing then it will not provide you with the same performance.
It was launched first time on 4 August 2020. It comes with 1-year warranty.
