I have written many articles on this website about SEO strategy, Blogging, and Affiliate Marketing. Over the past 6 years, I’ve been sharing my blogging experience through these articles. Today, I’ll talk about AI vs SEO. Is SEO dead in the era of AI, or is this actually the perfect time to learn SEO?
With the rise of AI and tools like ChatGPT, many people are asking:
- “Is SEO still relevant?”
- “Should I even bother learning SEO anymore?”
- “Can I earn a living through SEO in this AI-driven world?”
If you’ve been wondering the same, this blog post is for you. Read this full article today and discover why learning SEO is still crucial in the age of AI. Let’s start today’s article, AI vs SEO.
AI vs SEO
Let’s get one thing clear. Creating content and ranking content are two completely different skills. AI tools like ChatGPT can generate articles, scripts, and even product descriptions. But once the content is written, the real challenge begins: how will people find it?
That’s where SEO comes in. Whether it’s Google, YouTube, Instagram, or LinkedIn, SEO determines how high your content ranks in search results.
AI isn’t replacing SEO. When used wisely, AI can enhance your SEO workflow, making research and writing faster, but it still needs SEO fundamentals to get results.

What Exactly Is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. It’s the art and science of getting your content to rank higher on search engines, be it Google, Bing, YouTube, or even Amazon.
When done right, SEO helps your blog post, YouTube video, product listing, or social media content appear on top of relevant search results, leading to:
- More visibility
- More clicks
- More conversions and sales
If your content is high-quality, it can stay ranked for months—even years—bringing in passive traffic and income.

AI vs SEO: Is SEO Still Worth Learning in 2025?
Absolutely. Now is the best time to learn SEO. Why? Because SEO is no longer limited to blogging. It’s a core digital skill with applications in multiple platforms and industries.
Let’s break it down.
SEO Is a Skillset, Not Just a Tactic

Learning SEO means mastering different branches, like:
On-Page SEO | Optimising titles, headings, keywords, and content structure |
Off-Page SEO | Building backlinks and authority |
Technical SEO | Improving site speed, mobile-friendliness, and indexability |
Local SEO | Getting your business ranked on Google Maps |
YouTube SEO | Ranking videos using optimised titles, tags, and descriptions |
This skill isn’t just for bloggers anymore. It’s useful for:
- YouTubers
- Social media content creators
- Online sellers on Amazon/Flipkart
- Business owners
- Job seekers
- Freelancers and consultants.
SEO Is Everywhere, Not Just Google
Let’s look at where SEO is applied today:
Classic blog and website SEO | |
YouTube | YouTube is the second-largest search engine |
Amazon & Flipkart | Product listings rank based on SEO |
Instagram & Facebook | Content discoverability through hashtags and keywords |
Posts and profiles can rank in search results |
Even Google surfaces content from other platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Amazon.
So yes, SEO isn’t going anywhere. It’s expanding.

What Can You Do After Learning SEO?
Once you have SEO skills, you open up multiple career and income paths:
1. Start a Blog
Just like you can also start your Blog from today. It’s very simple and hardly takes 1-2 hours to start a blog. After that, you can monetise your Blog through Google AdSense, affiliate marketing, and sponsored content.
2. Launch a YouTube Channel
SEO helps grow your audience and get more views organically. You can learn SEO and teach people, or take classes on this topic. SEO is like a university. You can simplify it in a regional language and teach your audiences. I also do the same.
3. Freelance
There’s high demand for SEO experts on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and PeoplePerHour. You can learn SEO and give paid freelance services to your clients. Many freelancers do the same. They charge ₹50,000 to ₹60000 for a single SEO project every month.
4. Work Full-Time
Many companies hire SEO Executives or Digital Marketers to manage their online presence. If you don’t want to start a Blog, YouTube Channel or give freelance services, then you can simply apply for an SEO executive or SEO trainer job in any company and live your life happily.
5. Start an SEO Agency
Another way you can do after learning SEO is to start an SEO agency. This will help you start from one client to multiple clients and build a digital business. Helping clients rank their content, increase their traffic and increase revenue.
My SEO Journey: From Beginner Blogger to Digital Entrepreneur
I started blogging just to earn ₹5,000–₹10,000 a month and live a peaceful life.
But once I started learning SEO, things changed.
- My blog started growing.
- I built a steady income stream.
- I applied the same SEO principles to YouTube.
- Now, I dream of launching my SEO agency.
- And I plan to bring a Bengali SEO course for learners like you.
SEO Tools I Use (Free & Paid)
Over the years, I’ve used many SEO tools. Here are a few I personally recommend:
Free/Beginner Tools:
- Ubersuggest
- AnswerThePublic
Professional Tools:
Start with free tools. You can always upgrade later.
Final Thoughts: Is SEO Dead?
No. SEO is NOT dead. Not in 2025. Not even close. SEO is evolving, just like the internet is evolving. Those who combine SEO with AI tools are the ones winning right now. So if you’re thinking of starting your journey, this is the best time. If I can do it, you absolutely can.
